Pros

I guarantee and “pros” are outweighed by the truth of this job

Cons

Worked here for over a year, and know everything about this company. It’s a pyramid scheme disguised as a company for non-profits... except the profit heavily! Let’s be clear, the owner (who doesn’t even own a home, office or car) makes most profit. You work outside of grocery stores and beg folks for money. Don’t know how they justify this by taking from working class folks. I asked for a raise and my manager threw a chair (not kidding) and told me that’s not how I talk to him. Search Appco group pyramid scheme on Google, they were banned in parts of Europe for hazing their employees.

Pros

You meet some cool people.

Cons

It feel like a pyramid scheme. You’re literally outside stores for hours trying to convince people to donate .. if you have a car be prepared to drive out and add miles, they don’t give you gas money on “road trips” you’re put in nasty hotels , once again does not provide gas money and if they do even if you’re going cross state it’s like $20. Not worth your time , not worth interviewing cus they’re not up front . They make you dress in business clothes for the morning meeting but then you have to switch into uniform to be outside and they get on you if you wear the uniform in the morning meetings. All commission based. Some people lie about the charity and trick people into donating. Overall worst company to work for .

Pros

Supportive staff Easy job and flexible time. You feel good raising money for charity. Can't think of anything else to say.

Cons

Paid at commission, so no sales no money. Driving far distances with other co workers who don't drive to destinations to make sales. Standing outside grocery stores harassing people to donate to charities for a year. People literally run from you. Brain washing cult. The team is convinced if you have anything negative to say you are the problem, not realizing the company doesn't want you seeing their flaws.
