      Toxic Work Environment

      Pros

      At a small agency you wear many hats so it’s possible to learn a lot of new skills. Could be a considered a stepping stone to other opportunities.

      Cons

      Toxic work environment. Management was more concerned with traveling and buying luxury cars than being good leaders. Personally, it wasn’t a good place for me to learn and grow.

      We’ve never employed anyone with a Digital Marketing Specialist title in the history of our company. It’s difficult to provide a response as this position does not exist and has not existed at VELOX. This review is not warranted nor is it true in any way shape or form.       - C-Suite leadership are rude, demeaning, and lead with fear and intimidation - Pay is below average for the Boise market - Work life balance is poor. The expectation is to always be available on Slack and email even during vacations

      Culture is King

      Culture is a buzzword you hear a lot of companies use and I have learned over my career that very few actually get it right. VELOX Media gets it right. Culture is all about everyone on the team feeling valued for what they bring to the company and knowing that the leadership and the rest of the team is excited about all you have to offer. The leadership team at VELOX is open to everyone's ideas and they encourage everyone to contribute to the growth and success of the company. When anyone sees an area of improvement, it's acknowledged as important even if the solution is complicated, it's given true consideration on how can it be fixed. We have benefits that rival fortune 100 companies and the CEO is always looking for ways to take better care of his people. This is the best team of people I have worked with in my career and I enjoy coming to work everyday

      Cons

      We are growing so fast that we are quickly running out of space to put people. It's tight quarters for now until we find a new home
