Pros

work from home, create own schedule

Cons

over worked with little to no appreciation. Since you are salary management doesn't care how many hours you work each week and will have you working 60+ hours while being on call the rest of the time while events are going on.

Pros

Great entry level experience for surface level marketing activations. Great place gain experience as a young white person. Fun projects to work on.

Cons

No clear personal development plan for employees to move up in the company. Understaffed, overworked and underpaid. Culture is not great, very clique-y. Discourse on social issues is dismissed by management particularly when it makes the company reflect on their own values. Very white biased company. Management reacts hostile when providing feedback on improving process and practices.

Pros

Lots of professional development while sacrificing your personal life. If the Senior executives have the time to mentor you they provide great advice. There is a budget for culture related events however, they often include heavy drinking with the expectation to work a full day the next day. Great stepping stone to a better company.

Cons

Extremely poor director level management that promotes a toxic work environment. HR does not care about the employees and is fearful of senior executives in the company. Cares more about the margin on a program over their employees work life balance. Based on the hours worked you are severely under paid. No opportunity for real growth within the company.
