      Run! Just Don't Do It. Seriously.

      Pros

      Work from anywhere with an internet connection. Unlimited Skype calls. There really isn't much else on the pro side of things. If I could give no stars I would.

      Cons

      Unprofessional management, ridiculous clients, pathetic pay. Ridiculous expectations on staff. Rude owner with no management skills who is so disconnected from reality he might be legit insane at this point. Some real numbskulls on staff. Pay is only 1x a month and not transferred until anywhere from the 10-14th of the month. The business is basically built on the principles of misogyny.

      As the person who hired this employee and managed her while she worked at ViDA, I felt compelled to respond to her review. This employee worked a very short time with us, as we were happy to quickly part ways with her. She was one of the worst our company has ever seen. Her negative attitude permeated all that she did, and her general lack of interest in the job and in her client’s accounts left us in a very difficult spot. She neglected her client’s accounts, and only by transferring those accounts to more qualified Account Managers were we able to salvage relationships with our clients and also produce results for them. Fortunately, we realized soon enough and were able to prevent too much damage. We are lucky that the majority of them continued working with us despite having a bad experience with this reviewer. This employee picked fights with staff internally, and thought she was better than everyone else. She did a few awful things that we didn't even think imaginable and will not include in our response here. The audacity of her review after she did such shameful things is astounding. We are in the business of helping others find love and fulfill their dating goals. It’s a very personal and important service that we (and our clients) take seriously. Our Account Managers are open people who genuinely care about their clients' success. When we set our clients up on dates, it puts huge smiles on our faces and warms our hearts. This particular employee was extremely judgmental (her remark regarding Indian and East Indian clients reveals a lot about her attitude). She looked down on our clients and staff alike, and we were happy to part ways with her. We have a very loyal staff, and we all work together as a team to introduce our clients to women and help make an important dream in their life come true. Virtual Dating Assistants is not perfect by any means, we have our flaws, but this review is not representative of the reality of our company. The positive of working with this reviewer is that we learned our lesson the hard way, and we are much more cautious when hiring our Account Managers. We even updated our training method to prevent another situation like this in the future. For that, we thank her. We wish the reviewer the best of luck in her endeavors, and hope that she finds a job where she is a better fit.

      Pros

      Work is 100% remote. You will get paid but only 1 x a month and there is not a fixed date that the money will be transferred. Unlimited Skype calls.

      Cons

      Payment only once a month and is often late. Not a professional company. Hired as an independent contractor but treated like an employee.

      I guess if you like speaking to different people from different places that could be a pro… for a while….

      Cons

      This company does not care about you. They will not be there to guide you through any kind of training efficiently or easily. Their clients really don’t get any matches. Don’t be fooled by a bunch of founding friends - the cool kids who got in early - and who only care about money.

      Although we cannot 100% confirm the identify of this person, as their review is rather vague and full of untruths, we do have an idea of who it is. To the reviewer: We are sorry to hear that you didn’t have a positive experience at VIDA Select. Everyone’s experience and perspective is unique, including yours. While we do not wish to dive into our side of the story in regards to our experience with you on this public forum, we will say that it was not the most positive. We try our very best to provide support, mentorship, and many opportunities for open, transparent communication here at the company. Not everyone takes advantage of those things. And not everyone is a good fit for VIDA - the positions here are all fulfilling, but none of them are easy (something we always talk about in our interview process). While working for VIDA is unique, helping people find love - especially those who are not easy to find love for - is not an easy task. If you had not felt cared for, or guided, we wish that you had turned to one of the numerous mentors we have available. As for your other comments, they are so off-base, it’s hard to know where to start. We invest a lot of time, energy, and money into each and every one of our team members from the very moment they join the team. We stand by our management team, our team leads, our onboarding and orientation, and our overall service. We have endless proof of our clients’ success stories, and positive experiences, and we know the truth of how excellent our service is.
