A challenging work environment

Pros

A few nice people if you make an effort to get to know them.

Cons

Awful management with no idea how to grow and properly run an agency. Employees are not empowered to do their job because they micro-managed and delegated tasks. There is no respect for employees experience or work/life balance. No room for growth in the current structure. You will be berated for not following a process when there are no processes in place.

Pros

Most of the mid-level people I worked with were nice and easy going.

Cons

If you want to work in an environment where you are disrespected and verbally abused on a daily basis by an egotistical maniac CEO, then Vivo is the place for you!

Pros

Fun, collaborative environment with some really talented and dedicated people. New family leave policy for new parents. Company is attempting to fix a lot of the issues from the past. Nice office, fun people. Good compensation, good benefits, nice office.

Cons

Too many high level people, not enough worker bees. Everyone is operating several levels below their title because management is in the weeds instead of managing. No insight to future workload causes crazy timelines. No project management team leaves account team demanding unrealistic turnaround times. Every few weeks there are layoffs with the promise "this is the last one" - until a month later when it happens again leaving people doing multiple jobs. Freelancers fill the gap, without any experience or oversight. High level 'executive' team is full of empty promises but no action to anyone but themself.
