Pros

Don’t prefer this institution for job specially franchise owned centre. Because corporate doesn’t support you.

Cons

VLCC school of beauty Ajmer is the worst work place I’ve ever worked at with no clear paperwork and policies. Politics and only politics is there. Where owner just tries to steal other’s credit and gives false reviews for the other employees to corporate office. Only money minded person with zero professionalism. They use waste products(expiry dates) for student’s demos & practices. She only believes in cutting the salaries of employees and asking for fees from students. Till the time I was working there she was so nice at my face and as i left that place…I was useless for her and from that time she started thinking how to not paying the salary for the particular month. And when I asked for the same then I got an answer that corporate people denied to pay. After mailing the concern to the corporate team…got a reply that there is no any communication with them about this concern. Even after taking follow ups there is no reply from owner. Corporate is also not taking any action as it is franchise based institution. I wanna say whether it is company owned or franchise owned….it is VLCC institute. Why you people are not doing anything? Hope anyone will not be trapped in her fake buttery talks in future.

Pros

Long-term job security for many: After 18 years, you've had steady employment, and several reviews mention reasonable job security (especially for women-focused workspaces or certain roles), with some stability in the beauty/wellness sector.Training and skill opportunities: Some employees appreciate training programs, exposure to wellness/beauty industry skills, and occasional focus on women empowerment or team aspects.

Cons

Zero work-life balance: This is one of the most common complaints. Employees frequently describe no fixed working hours, expectations to work on off days/holidays, compulsory attendance even when seriously ill, and pressure to attend meetings regardless of health. Your point about having to attend meetings while heavily ill and explain reasons aligns with reports of extreme lack of flexibility and poor consideration for personal health/family time.Poor management culture and lack of respect: Many reviews highlight toxic elements like politics, unprofessional behavior, rude managers, shouting or harsh treatment in meetings, and disrespect toward senior/long-term employees. High attrition, lack of structure, and feeling undervalued are recurring themes. No real promotions or career growth despite long service: Career growth is often rated very low (around 2.8/5 or lower on AmbitionBox). Employees complain of "in the name of promotion, nothing is given," delayed/no recognition for tenure, limited upward mobility, and favoritism/politics blocking advancement – exactly matching your 18 years without meaningful promotion from the company side.Other frequent issues: Salary delays or dissatisfaction, high pressure (e.g., sales targets even in non-sales roles), extreme politics, no proper leaves/sick days, and overall unprofessional environment leading to burnout. Work-life balance: 1/5Career growth/promotions: 1-2/5. Management/culture: 1-2/5. Job security: 3/5
