      Potential career opportunity as less people and easier to be seen

      Cons

      Work content: -Very demanding management -Unrealistic goal pushed by management, ended up all job done in low quality. The effort to make up is higher -Only work no life if u wanna perform Salary Portion: -yet to receive the first increment, but bonus is targeted at 2 months + 1 month AWS + ??Quarterly bonus (which unable to get due to unrealistic target) -with such pay structure, u can get in any semiconductor company with more chill life HR Style: -Not transparent -Even OT claim get is unmatched with the payout -HR consistently finding ways to reduce/eliminate employee benefits Upper Management Style: -opportunities are more towards VIS TW employees and generally Taiwanese -Principle engineer roles are mainly reserved for VIS TW employees without 300mm experience

      1. Affordable cafeteria food. 2. Great place to build resilience—future jobs will probably feel much easier.

      Cons

      1. Toxic culture with a pervasive blame mentality. 2. Inexperienced management with limited technical and business understanding. 3. Junior engineers are often criticized before root causes are investigated. 4. Bureaucratic hierarchy where titles matter more than facts. 5. Little accountability; blame is frequently shifted between teams. 6. Aggressive, disrespectful communication is common. 7. Engineers are consistently overloaded while managers primarily apply pressure instead of providing support. 8. High stress, low psychological safety, and limited opportunities for constructive feedback.
