Pros

- There truly are many wonderful and amazing people who work here. - For some positions there is a lot of autonomy. - The discounted employee rental rates. - This is a place to work if you like working in the timeshare industry and don’t like being in a big corporate environment.

Cons

Overall this is a pretty awful work environment and I have spent most of my time here looking for other jobs. It takes a very special person to work here and be happy. What makes it so awful is …. - Disconnected management who have absolutely no idea what is going on with their employees or out in the real world. - This company is so reactive they probably don’t know the definition of proactive. People are always running around putting out fires and no one is planning for the future or trying to prevent future fires. If you try to be proactive you get a lot of resistance or are dismissed. - Management is not responsive to complaints and in many cases they get defensive and blame the complainer for the issue. - Lack of direction from management or worse sometimes you get conflicting directions from different managers. - Awful Communication - So many people are in dark here that most of the questions you ask will receive a vague answer. The best source of information at this company is to become buddies with the office gossips. - Rampant favoritism. There literally are people who are protected and no matter how incompetent they are or how much they screw up they will never be fired or expected to improve. The Non Favored People are expected to cater to the favorites weaknesses and clean up their messes. - Lack of accountability - few people are held accountable for mistakes or bad behavior. - There is a severe lack of training. It's sink or swim and no one really cares if you sink or why you sunk. Then to top it off the person who sunk usually gets blamed for it regardless of how much or how little training they got. - People do everything possible to avoid conflict and no one directly communicates with each other. If there is an issue or someone is concerned about you, they go ask a co-worker what's wrong with you or to complain about a mistake you made. - There are several employees who terrorize the whole company with their back biting, gossiping, and bulling behavior. If you ever wondered what happened to the Mean Girls after high school, look no further, they all work at this company.

Pros

I've been working here for four months and just to show employee appreciation, I've seen them bring in Cold Stone to serve everyone ice cream (for free), a latte cart for the same, free catered lunches, and they took everyone to a Mariners Game this summer and got us a suite to view the game from. I don't know how anyone gets any work done for all the fun we have!

Cons

It all depends on your position in the company, and your attitude about it. I work downstairs as an administrative assistant, and I love my boss, my position and this company. I could see working upstairs in the call center to be a little stressful, or working in sales if you're not used to being a sales person. But assuming you have a position that suites you, and a good attitude about it, I don't see any cons.
