      Too much billing

      Great people you get to work for and with.

      Cons

      They require 7.5 hours billing a day. That’s a 94% billing rate if you calculate 7.5/8. Other non-profits only require around 80%. They require us to bill this much so the CEO/President can make 300k a year. He’s getting there, but only a couple of years ago he was making 120k and now it’s almost a quarter of a million at 222k. So at Vadis we work our butts off to generate revenue from all the billable hours so this man can make himself a millionaire off our hard work and labor. If some of you are wondering why a lot of us are sick of this capitalism bs and want socialism, I can’t find a better example than this.

      Lots of transferable skills, good resume builder Meaningful work with a marginalized population Creativity & problem solving skills are a focus

      Insufficient training Compensation equals far less than how much work employees are expected to produce Bonuses are waved in your face but are incredibly harder to earn than management markets to new hires Diversity-focus is a facade, organization is far behind the ball in regards to internal diversity Expectation of working throughout the county, all the travel is hard on your car, even though mileage is reimbursed Clear disorganization throughout all programs, disagreements within leadership system are ever-present and never solved The managers can be real buttheads sometimes to be honest
