      Pros

      Guaranteed 40 hour weeks. Only a couple good people.

      Cons

      Terrified of my boss. Screamed at constantly, scared to call in sick without being yelled at and called a liar. I go home and just cry everyday. Work is way too much and seeing others get treated better because they hang out with the boss after work is depressing. Most people have been there a long time and are set in their ways. they'll throw you under the bus any chance they get. When you have a question, they can't answer it and turn it around to where you're the ignorant one for not understanding it yourself.

      not much to reflect upon once vallen took over IDG

      Cons

      they hire, don't support career development, & will cut you at a moments notice

      Very old fashioned

      Pros

      Lots of freedom. Management doesn't show their face much. If you like a quiet calm office, this place is for you.

      Cons

      The office life is quiet and dull. Very old fashioned. Everyone is hidden behind cube walls as if not to talk or have fun. Zero extra perks or incentives to help keep moral up. Most of the employees are older and still have an older attitude. The only talk around the office is telling each other how much work you have to do or complaining that you are over worked. When management decides to take some of that work from those employees, they pile it on everyone else while the others browse Facebook all day. Managements is full of empty promises. I was told a promotion is coming but keep being told "it's in the works." Raises are few and far between. This place is a rumor mill of people whispering behind someone's back and talking about the offices closing.
