Pros
Very diverse group of employees. Decent compensation.
Cons
Toxic work environment in which employees are given free rein to bully each other and perform badly without consequence. Often they are simply modeling toxic behavior of upper management. It’s a trickle-down effect. Also: poor training provided at start of employment. “Leads” are not provided the necessary leadership training to do their jobs and have no business “leading.” And: Bait-and-switch job descriptions for many—company will change employees’ job descriptions all the time. Also: Health benefits offered are a bargain for the company, but are a huge hassle for employees who end up having to spend their free time acting as a billing agency. (Majority of healthcare orgs refuse to bill the secondary insurance provided to a high deductible plan). Finally: The company’s unrealistic 30-day advance notice to ask for a day off results in a high call-out “sick” culture.
