Pros

Benefits are good and there is union representation

Cons

Culture of fear and favoritism. The union is seen as a bad thing by management. Management is not honest and is aggressive about pushing out staff they don't personally like, despite their good work performance.

The medical providers are universally skilled, dedicated, and professional.

Callous, inept senior office administrators who create a toxic culture that contributes to inefficiency, petty and harmful staff behavior, immature backstabbing, and roguish attitude.

Pros

Intelligent nursing staff. Interested in evidenced based medicine.

Cons

Upper administration failure to see big picture of all areas other than what they come from. HR not supportive when there is a serious concern. Would rather coach out healthcare professional with known addictions than to actually provide information to get them help. Those people just end up at other area facilities and are a risk to others. Several director level new hires not given proper support and mentoring, All let go during their first 90 days. At some point they need to realize it’s not the new hires fault and look at the lack of support for new managers.
