5 good years come to an end...

Pros. No more. It was a smooth sailing ship. I joined in 2011. Grew as an individual as the organization grew.... transparent management, good management, above average pay...we had our share of problems such as AC not working (if you know what I mean!),but that was it.

Cons

And then came BPO WNS with their culture. All false promises that we will maintain culture, creativity, transparency. HR day happen and all hell breaks loose. Incorrect title mapping across the organization...some people get artificially promoted, some get demoted and nobody in HR has an answer what just happened. HR people who created the mapping are missing from the floor and someone who does not have the answers/was not involved has been left behind. 48hrs of work commitment on paper? People were happily doing 50-60 hrs when required...why did you have to do this? We are not a BPO in case it was not clear

Pros

Gave a decent exposure to CI industry, but at the cost of a highly political system in the company. If you are good at flattery, you can find yourself in the good books of the management. Work exposure is fine, but don't expect much from the managers.

Cons

The company fires people who don't get along well with the management. Although I should not be saying this, but the company is being managed by 2 husband-wife duos, who have their way in everything. There are no policies, there is no HR. There is immense partiality: better opportunities are provided to people who get along well with ''these people''. And God protect you if you don't get along with them. The company has no HR to protect the employees in such a case. You'll be shown the door, and it does not matter if you were an excellent performer, they will get rid of you if there is the slightest attrition between you and the managers. Better avoid such a company, and work for one where at least you would have job security, or at least an HR department to protect you.

Everything was great previously. With the new owners, who anyways have a horrible reputation in the market, nothing will be good anyways

Cons

Opting for WNS. There might be reasons for going ahead with this decision, but frankly each day is coming up as a hassle for employees. No policies are in place. Pay structure is messed up. They expect 9 hours of minimum work hours, and no flexibility is being provided. No compensation for extra hours put in. Previous flexibility is now gone down the drain.
