      There is a lot of room for growth if you’re willing to do the work. VanCare invests in their staff and management.

      Supported living in general has a staffing crisis.

      Pros

      My Program Director (upper management) is great! She helps our houses when we are short staff or there is an emergency. I have made some friends from the houses I've worked at. The Admin is easy to talk to about any troubles with guardians or staff concerns. Its family owned with higher standards compared to other companies I've worked at. .

      Cons

      No PTO. Benefits aren't great. lack of work-life balance due to being short staffed.
