CEO is the ONLY problem of the firm and he is running the firm to the ground!
Pros
Worked there for quite a few years and, from what I can tell, almost everyone working there is easy to get along. The company has really solid products and a firm business foundation. Overall: Nice office Nice co-worker
Cons
The way how the CEO is operating the firm is THE biggest and probably ONLY problem! While a lot of the people in the firms are being paid by VanPeople to work for his other companies/personal side-projects, we are still constantly hiring under-qualified staff on low wages and the quality of work suffered as a result. Turn over rate has been insane during my time there. You see people coming in and leaving almost every 2 months. Sometimes you see multiple people leave within a month. The company has been making no effort whatsoever to retain its talent. During the height of the pandemic in Dec 2021, most people were strongly discouraged by the CEO to work from home so much so that he openly stated that if people were to work from home they would be considered to be doing next to no work! Side note: the office has not provided coffee or even paper towels since Sept-2021. Overall: Delayed payment period every month. Do not value any talents. Would much rather hire under-qualified people than pay more to hire potentially qualified talents. Employees are constantly being told that the firm is under lots of financial stress while we see the upper management misusing the company resources every day. Horrible work-life balance if you are on marketing or operation because you will most likely be expected to answer messages at 11:00 pm at night on a Saturday.
