      Pros

      - Good benefits - Good company culture (in theory, of course) - You get to serve your immediate community - Diversity and inclusion at lower levels

      Cons

      - Not very competitive in terms of salaries and benefits. - Too hierarchical so, a lot of deference and respect is required towards managers, supervisors and anyone above pay-range 7 even when they're not taking the right calls. No dialogue or discourse is encouraged to superiors, only at an horizontal level. - Too elitist. Almost all trainings and resources to improve the workplace experience are aimed at managers, supervisors and leaders. - No formal performance reviews which accentuate the elitism problem a lot since promotions, transfers or even accommodations rely more on how much your leader likes you than performance based on metrics or results. This of course makes for a very toxic culture but more out of frustration and lack of advancement. - Staggering turn-over rate, which means you're going to be overworked until someone else gets hired and then some since you'll have to train them while performing the other duties.
