Pros

I am a new agent that has been working with Vanguard for about a year now. Before Vanguard, I worked a smaller boutique brokerage. Once I transitioned to Vanguard I was blown away by the night and day difference. Vanguard is lead by extremely passionate real estate professionals that have proven their effectiveness in real estate year after year. The weekly sales meetings are loaded with new information on the current market trends, updates on new constructions, guest speakers including real estate attorneys and loan officers. My favorite part about the sales meetings are hearing all the agents talk about the process of the buying experience for their clients as well as the selling process and how it sold and why. I highly recommend and hungry agent to strongly consider Vanguard because of their training program. You two weekly training sessions where you learn about all of different contracts, what they mean and how to work with sellers and buyers in the most informative way. These classes are lead by some of their most intelligent and talented brokers.

Cons

For new agents it is hard to break into the industry and do well off the bat. Attending the sales meetings can be motivational but discouraging at the same time. Discouraging only because you see the same names over and over again on the sales sheet agenda. However, there is a reason they are there and you should use those sales meetings to see how they are doing things in order for you to build your business. (i guess this really isnt a con.) Desk fee's are bit of a con but you get what you pay for when it comes to the access to everything you'll need for desk supplies and up to date market trends
