Don’t believe these fake reviews

Pros

None. At. All. Literally the worst

Cons

Does anyone actually read these glowing reviews from current employees and believe a word. Honestly some of them read like there’s a gun pointed at their head whilst sat at their keyboard. Read the bad ones, not these fake great ones.. Here’s the truth from someone who escaped the work camp… writing company reviews was part of your KPIs, you were encouraged to make up email addresses to write multiple fake reviews, and even given the script to include. It’s deceitful, it’s a horrible practice and ultimately ruins the lives of those that they lure in. A company so backwards they’re moving back in time. Multiple meetings per week to discuss progress..? In other words, a director who knows nothing about recruitment throwing his weight around setting unrealistic demands and threatening jobs if he didn’t have his way, throwing people under the bus and putting people down when they were struggling. No support whatsoever, especially since Ryan and Phil left… that should tell you something, when your top performing staff are leaving.. sure, newbies maybe cycle out as some aren’t cut out for the job, but the REAL senior staff should be thriving, instead they’ve ALL left due to a horrid, toxic owner.

The bad reviews are true

Pros

Some of the other consultants are decent genuine people and you can make good money if you are good at recruitment. Good social working hours early finish on a Friday. If changes were made to management it could be a great place to work.

Cons

Disappointedly I have found most of the negative reviews on here are true. Heavily micromanaged high pressured environment. Manipulative management from senior staff and archaic ideology of how staff should be treated. Conflict within the workplace seems to be handled badly and insensitively. Any personal or medical issues reported will not be confidential like they say I have heard colleagues problems spread as common office gossip. Things that happen here would not stand in any other forward thinking business and at times can have total disregard for their duty of care towards staff. Rewarded for your hard work with even more difficult targets and blamed if unachieved. Training programme consists of being talked at and you are given a senior title immediately even if you have no recruitment experience then clients will expect you to live up to what they think a senior consultant can do. It sounds nice to be senior right away but then there is nowhere to progress from there and nothing to work toward but more fees. Probably why turnover is high. Laptops for working from home are kept locked away in the office and you are not allowed to work from home unless you have covid.

Pros

A handful of the team are genuinely nice and welcoming.

Cons

Where do I start? The owner is out of touch with every single member of staff I am not even sure he knew my name or ever said hello. Management will lure you in with a fake impression of what the culture looks however it is micro management central. Avoid at all costs. I took a pay cut when I left and have never been happier.
