Disappointing and Lack of Supportive Leadership. One of the worst teams I have ever worked with.
Pros
Good company events, including happy hours on Thursdays, monthly birthday lunches, and really enjoyable Halloween celebrations. Jeff, the co-founder, is a great person who genuinely cares about the company and its mission, though unfortunately, he doesn’t seem to have visibility into all the toxic managers impacting the culture.
Cons
Nepotism: Favoritism is rampant, with promotions and opportunities often based on personal connections or shared ethnic backgrounds rather than merit. Toxic Managers: Upper management frequently entrusts toxic managers with significant responsibilities, creating a hostile work environment for many. Lack of Support: Individual contributors often feel isolated, with little to no backing from VP-level or senior leadership. Feedback Discouraged: Constructive feedback from employees, especially those in non-leadership roles, is not welcomed or acted upon, stifling growth and innovation.
