I worked at Velocity Frequent Flyer full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Nothing. Travel perks are not great : hard to get a seat (standby tickets) and not many routes or airline alliances

    Cons

burn out guaranteed with long hours without rewards not an equal opportunity employer, especially for women or non white people, whereas the company pretends to be very high staff turnover : when I was there, at least 10 people were leaving for an office that has a little more 100 employees. I even saw people resigning the same day bullying culture : I saw people crying and getting yelled and HR was hopeless, her only answer was "I support the business". In the interviews they lied to many people as there was a huge gap between what they were told in the interviews and what they were actually doing in their job. Recently, we have an inspector from Government who came to us in order to investigate about bullying. In addition, the company is very misorganised, there is no process and nobody trains you, and when I mistake comes they like to put blame on you. Because of the very high turnover, teams are constantly underresourced. Company pretends to promote Equal Opportinuty policies, however, they tend to favour white people for the promotions and the management is dominated by Males
