Pros
You can work from home full time, you'll get experience with client management, and you don't need a lot of experience to be hired. Benefits package is pretty good with decent health, dental, and vision insurance options. Most coworkers are easy to work with and nice people.
Cons
Staff is nearly 80% white. That's unacceptable in Democratic politics. The pay is WAY too low compared to other digital agencies, and they won't allow for negotiation (well, some people were able to successfully negotiate, others were not, and they will not tell you why that is - which means there is a gap between what POC and white staff are making). A lot of the clients they boast about working with on their website have left them for other firms. While it's understandable that clients will move on for different reasons, the majority of the clients they have up on their "Our Work" section are no longer clients and have not been clients for some time now. The quality of work they put out isn't bad, but it's strange how few long term clients they seem to have in comparison to other firms. The way the team is structured makes very little sense, and again, there's really no transparency. A lot of the talent has left to go to other firms where they're more appreciated. If you just need a job and aren't getting a better offer from any other firms or jobs, sticking it out here for a year and moving on to something else is fine. There isn't a ton of room for growth and you can find better pay elsewhere.
