Pros
Works wonderfully with college student schedules and the management staff is wonderful. The material is very interesting most of the time, very rarely is there indecipherable audio which management is very understanding of.
Cons
Hours are limited because of part-time status, and there can be some difficult content in terms of violence / politics / etc.

Pros
You get more experience with editing and become great at parsing natural English - good for if you want to do work in copy editing, editing your writing or writing dialogue in fiction. You get to follow the news while working - helpful if you're not the type to go seeking it out. They work with NPR.
Cons
May not get that close with any coworkers that quickly unless you make a point of doing so outside of hours
