Pros
I was able to work among some very talented and driven folks. I also had the opportunity to work as both a charge back specialist and a charge back lead- which let me tell you is day and night! Free snacks- Pretty decent work/home life balance if you're NOT in management- great health care! In the beginning the CEO really seemed to care about ALL of his employees- off site activities were fun and seemed to take the load off! That was lost somewhere!
Cons
I relocated with the company to Las Vegas and was part of the start-up team in the satellite office. Initially, it was exciting to be a part of something new and fresh, but things took a turn once I began questioning the ethics of seasoned employees. I not only questioned the ethics, but was harassed by one of their admins. I reported this behavior and was pacified at best. Management continued to change for the worst. They missed the mark each time when bringing in senior management from the outside instead of focusing on the talent right under their nose. It was disheartening to watch. There is a lot of favoritism and politics in this environment covered up by great health benefits and snacks! I choose to leave on my own accord and follow the path my Master's Degree took me and I couldn't be more happier! If I would have stayed in that environment, I too would have become expendable at some point and probably "laid off" or "fired" because of my nature to question authority and their integrity! As a entry level job- go for it! Free snacks ( shrugs) but if you have as much education as I do, don't waste your time- find an environment that will pay you what you're worth and treat you even better. Lots of Gossip among management about lower level Favoritism No room for growth Dishonest management
