Pros

Working with Enterprise customers on large deals, global company with large market share will get attention on CV for future roles.

Cons

You only want to work at Verint to take you up the value chain for your career - it's a stepping stone only. The ANZ business is at best break-even and in decline in real terms. As a sales guy you will be given a number which is too high so you won't make Club, and you won't hit your OTE. It's worse for Pre-Sales as the gap between reality and the target is even greater. The local leadership is woeful - totally out of depth. You will be micromanaged and bullied, and there is no modern work-life balance. Work from home? Forget about it. The travel policy is the worst I have seen in the industry, they will make you stay on the outskirts of the city to save a penny, and put you on terrible connections.

Pros

- Some good people (now mostly gone). - Interesting product suite (mostly in the Chinese proverb sense of "interesting" but that provides some degree of challenge to break the monotony). - Primarily remote engagements (I'm not much for travel).

Cons

- HR managed out of HK, no idea how things work in the rest of the world. - Chronically under staffed and over committed. - Old boys club in management. - "Borg" mentality with regards to Mergers and Acquisitions, extremely slow to actually integrate acquisitions in any sort of clean fashion. - Huge churn. - Ivory tower mentality from "Product House", complete absence of regard for advice from the field. - Apparent complete lack of QA for "gold" releases of products. - Pretty much zero career progression opportunity in the Engineering stream (unless you want to go into Pre-sales or Project Management). - No corporate cards, requiring that expenses be accrued on personal cards, reimbursement process is extremely slow. - Incompetent IT management out of the HK office. - No trust for employees who are not part of the "old boys club". - No follow through on the alleged large catalogue of training. - Work Life balance? What's that?

Pros

Great people who try hard to meet the promised senior management make to customers.

Cons

The senior leadership team in APAC ripped off employees in short changing bonus and breaking promises all the time. It's all about the deal and then when it is signed off both the customers and employees are let down in equal measure. An utter disgrace.
