Pros

The only positive thing is the location.

Cons

Terrible experience! People don’t even say hello when you arrive in the office! Very low salary and demanding job, they put a lot of pressure to reach targets. They are always short staff (cause people tend to leave very often) and the amount of tasks to deal with is crazy. Some trainers are rude and bully, check how many times you go to the toilet, couldn’t even talk to colleagues sat next to me. Slow approval for any request (work from home, holidays, etc.). Definitely don’t even try!

A dead end

Pros

A lot of the people are nice. No weekend, shift, or evening/night work required.

Cons

Clique. Terrible wage for what is expected, especially for multilingual staff. The work is, for the most part, utterly pointless. Longer than standard working day, for no particular reason and no reward. Most of what Vero does can be, and is being automated away. People complain that it's Monday and rejoice that it's Friday ad nauseum, which is a reflection of the overal mood at the place.

Vero Screening Response

Thank you for your review. We agree there has been significant pressure on our operational teams due to unprecedented Client demand for our services as the economy recovers from the pandemic. We’ve talked about this with everyone in the townhalls lead by Rupert (CEO), and Rebecca (COO), the recordings of these can be accessed by our employees. We expect nothing more than for our colleagues to do their best within working hours. We’d like to think we’ve communicated this clearly, but please let us know if this is not the case so we can correct it. We’ve been proactively looking at ways to ease the pressure and reward our employees during this busy period. We’ve been busy recruiting additional team members throughout the year and will continue to do so for the rest on 2021 and into next year. We also recently introduced a significant operational bonus to acknowledge the pressure and reward the hard work of our operational colleagues and are currently undertaking a salary benchmarking exercise to address any concerns with our salary structure. All employees are encouraged to reach out to the HR team, their manager, or one of our mental health first aiders for advice and support if they are struggling, we’re here to help, and always grateful for feedback.
