It’s not at all what it seems to be...

Pros

Centered in downtown San Diego near a few good places to eat. The company pays a portion of your parking or commute fees (includes Uber/Lyft). They have a well stocked snack section with an ondemand coffee machine and serve wine, mixed drinks or beer for happy hour towards the end of certain shifts. The only reason I truly stayed as long as I did with the company is purely due to the people I worked with, not all of them, but a handful of genuine people that work hard and are good at what they do.

Cons

The company culture has fallen drastically, it’s a shame because I would have given them a 4-5 star rating but since I’ve seen how some employees are treated compared to others, I had to leave and let others know about it. This place isn’t at all what it seems to be.. and this is coming from someone who was with the company for over a year. A lot of bad mouthing and harassment from managers, upper management nor David, CEO, does anything about it. They are good to their customers but treat their employees like crap. If you decide to work here you’ve thrown out your dreams of ever moving up within the company, there is no such thing at Agentology. For example, you can get paid more at In-N-Out and get a raise, or move-up much faster than Agentology.

Pros

They finally offer insurance after promising it for 1.5 years Offer a full insurance package (health, vision, dental, chiropractic)

Cons

Before beginning, take a look at the past reviews. Every time there is a negative review the marketing department goes in and writes 3 exceptional reviews about the company with zero complaints so please try to take the reviews for what they are worth. This company was the best place to work at when they were under 20 people. They cared about their employees and they were fairly compensated. The CEO's got greedy and grew way too fast for their own good and things went down from there. They grew to 150+ and in that amount of time I watched more than 60 people get fired/let go. I watched favoritism happen on many different occasions in every different department. The work atmosphere was really bad because people were continuously looking over there shoulder worrying that they were next on the hit list. They forced over time on employees and told them they would have set schedules just to force them to work weekends. They paid the people who were doing all of the grunt work terrible wages while everyone else was getting 6 figures minimum a year (hence the downtown condos, the million dollar beach front properties, etc) Every year right before the best company to work for review comes out for the employees to fill out they remind you of all of the things they have done for you- snacks and drinks in the office, bring you to a padres game, swag, potlucks, etc... There are many more things to list but to sum up the review. DO NOT work here if you ever plan to have a baby and breastfeed. They put you in a storage closet to pump. Not only that but I watched the office manager put a girl in the bathroom to pump which is against every right and law for women in the workplace. I know the mother requested a lock on the storage closet but it was never fulfilled. She got walked in on 5 times minimum which I know brought her to tears from embarrassment.

Started amazing, but now the culture is gone.

Pros

-When I started, Agentology was a sure fire 5 star employer. We were a family and it never felt like a typical, corporate environment. That went downhill at an alarming rate when outside management was hired, which is now why I rate it a 2 Star. -A lot of the pros have been removed. The employees overall are a great group. -Paid downtown parking is a nice benefit.

Cons

-The family culture is now gone and longevity, dedication, and hard work are not a part of how you are viewed as an employee. -Had several layoffs over the last few months. Some were long term employees that were there through much of the growth. Positions were eliminated with no chance to continue on in another position that they were actively hiring for. -Growth was a great benefit at first, but they’ve proved there’s no security in growth.
