The day I left and the fact there are 2-3 very nice employees.
Cons
Sadly I cannot believe firms such as Vertex Solutions are still in business. Shockingly everything about the firm seems to be a misdirection. Firstly you are sold on the premise that you will get 40% commission. This is an outright lie. The facts are you have to pay back any base rate salary before you get paid commission. Once you dissect the misdirected wording of the scheme you will actually discover that you are employed on a commission only basis. A basic salary should be that, a basic salary. Additionally given you have to pay back your basic salary out of your commission the accurate figure is something akin to 26-29%. I have never heard of any other recruitment firm hiring people on a commission only basis.
On LinkedIn the company shows as having 200+ employees. The reality, certainly in the London office is there are 8 people. More misdirection.
The Vertex website advertises jobs. When you read through them it is quite clear some jobs have been copied and pasted directly from the real companies advertising them yet Vertex are palming them off as their own. It's terrible, and I didn't know companies like this still operated and existed in this fashion.
The CEO is also clearly not interested in the well being of his employees. Staff turnover within Vertex Solutions is at a level I have never experienced before. In my first 2 weeks 6 people were either fired or resigned. Truly staggering. There is no culture, no incentives like winners trips, lunch clubs or other recruitment related benefits. The whole set up is terrible yet senior management question why they cannot attract senior staff or keep staff beyond 6 months.

I am always disappointed to see ex employee’s who feel in some way let down by the business and we take comments on Glassdoor very seriously.
To address the specific criticisms:
Firstly, as to bonus and basic salary. Vertex pays a basic salary and you ALWAYS get your basic – it is never taken away from you. The comment here is completely false.
Our “up to” 40% commission scheme depends on your billings and billing consistency. We are very transparent with all staff and interviewee’s and provide a full breakdown of how the scheme works along with a clear FAQ section. This is available on demand to anyone who is interested in working for us (just drop us a line). Any claim of “not understanding” how it works should again be taken with a pinch of salt – I am afraid, as within all recruitment firms, if there are zero results, there will be zero bonus.
Vertex advertising is never “cut and paste”, again a false claim. Part of our service is to advertise on behalf of our extensive and high-profile client base, which is where the adverts that you see on our corporate website come from.
Staff well-being is absolutely of primary importance to not only me but to the whole of the Vertex management team. This is why we have 23 benefits (And growing), which include private medical cover, an achievers lunch club, promotion bonuses and others. I am sorry that the author of this review has felt frustrated enough to make this posting. Whilst at Vertex we do everything that we can to enable success, recruitment is a tough career and not everyone can make a success of it.

This company may be looking nice but it's not that inside
Cons
I was fooled by this company, they tried to offer a job as intermediary, they said that they'll pay all my travel expenses, but they didn't do it, and I sent 10 mails, they say that they'll get sorted that each time, but they're kidding in fact.. what a pity..

I am sorry to hear this - it is the first I have heard of any issues around travel expenses. Please note, Vertex would not be the one to pay the travel expenses, it would be the end client (if they have agreed this). I would however like to get to the bottom of what has happened in your case - perhaps you can contact me m.beard@vertex-solutions.co.uk ?
If you can survive a year there you'll have enough experience to move on to somewhere else.
Cons
See the reviews of this company under the listing Vertex Solutions or Vertex Agility. Commission changed after you join (it's called 'miscommunication' including you wont be told about the clawback until you join). People fired at will on a weekly basis. KPI for everything.
