Pros

I enjoyed working at VE for the most part. Coworkers and managers made for a fun atmosphere. Mostly very chill work environment.

Cons

pay was not great and raking the shredded rubber floor was a health risk (dust cloud)

the work is enjoyable the managers and coworkers are cool

Cons

absolutely trash upper management/company owners seem to have no idea how to run a business very low wage that does not reflect the specialized skills/information you need to be good at this job not a lot of poc representation no real upward mobility beyond becoming a shift manager no annual raises few benefits, health insurance policy is a joke impossible to make the job livable unless you enjoy living paycheck to paycheck unwilling to spend money on their programs/thing that would directly benefit staff/the climbers that come to the gym a complete lack of trust between upper and lower management
