      Unstable, horrendous leadership

      Pros

      Good work life balance, unlimited pto, resources for learning, you can get away with not doing much

      Cons

      The worst thing is the micromanaging has gotten out of hand. They tell us exactly how to build things and do not take any engineers opinions into perspective. The people making blanket decisions are the ones who are furthest removed from the processes. Leaders are unqualified, many have no experience leading before these roles. Seems like a clique environment. If you are in the 'in' group you are safe. Decisions are all made reactively. The head of the department does not want to take any responsibility for anything. Constantly blames everyone else for anything that goes wrong. Does not seek to understand the core issue.

      Pros

      ATP has been a great company to work for in the past. It's an interesting industry and there are/were some great people to work with in the company.

      Cons

      I know many companies have struggled over the past few years, but ATP has shown us growth when we review numbers, yet as of late they've been spontaneously letting go of a lot of good people which in turn is causing other great people to voluntarily leave. They have also started outsourcing many of the engineering jobs and now most people feel as though they have no job security regardless of how vital of a role they play in the company. Things seem to be heading downhill rather quickly

      Great talented folks on the teams. Nicest people to work with who really care about what they do and go an extra mile to make customers happy.

      Cons

      Leadership instills fear and intimidation. As an employee, you are nothing but a commodity to them: play safe, avoid mistakes and lay low.
