Bad by call center standards

Pros

It's an easy job to get and the work is simple. There are usually extra hours to be picked up if you need it around the beginning of the month

Cons

The job is so simple that you don't gain a lot of useful experience. They've embraced their turnover rate to the point that ANY complaint or request is in general met with someone telling you you are free to leave. The pay is extremely low even if you do manage to hang on long enough to become full time. At the end of the day; it's just stressful. The primary phone interaction is inbound but it's people who are in general trying to use an automated system and didn't want to talk to a person in the first place. The script is thankfully minimal but rigid and often awkward and frustrating. Add to that; the company was losing money so they were making huge staff cuts so days of 150+ calls were common.

Pros

The people who work in the office are generally lovely.

Cons

Everything.... No flexibility Senior manager is some sort of cave man who wants everybody at work from 9-6 The will lie to you before you start that you can work from home - its a lie The folks who work in the portland / atlanta offices can work flexi time Managment are a joke Minimal pay rise They benifit from people who want to get out of dublin and work back home, but these people are realizing they are being shafted. The QA director is a complete joke. HR would take the head off you for nothing. Management may well take a swipe at you when you leave, negative comments etc. Please don't waste your time...

Pros

The CEO and the US Call Center Director are the only positives There is nothing else positive about this company unless you are an outside hire. They spout they promote from within to keep you interested, then it's SUCKER!!!! Sorry you have been here for one year. Assignment over! Totally agree with previous poster, they choose favorites not hard workers. Quality people are lost everyday. They consider "people" as disposable. Any positive review is from management trying to offset all the negative feedback.

Cons

Manager and Supervisors are fake. No human aspect at this company at all! Bait and Switch with their own employees. Maybe thats why they use temp help through multiple agencies. No accountability to front line help.
