Company is honestly a joke. Every move is micromanaged. Just laid off 80-90% of the salesforce, likely because they over-hired by hundreds the last 2 years(I was not one of them), Service is terrible, lose customers quicker than they can gain. leadership is shady and dishonest and want you to lie to customers about contracts and pricing, market centers are dirty and dangerous as they haven’t been invested in properly, activity driven sales model because most companies have had Vestis and quit or heard bad things, inferior product to competitors, the list goes on. Do yourself a favor and work literally anywhere else

What’s incredible is we were sold such a wild dream that before these abrupt lay offs, I really felt like the sky was the limit…We grew from 600 to 1000 people in field sales in a year just to lay off 500 sellers in August 2025 (no one saw coming) and 80% of the sales managers last week. The previous CEO Kim Scott screwed us. Our strategy was to grow our way out of our problems; then the new CEO peeled back the curtain and revealed we were only contributing 3% of new biz revenue but Vestis is losing 5x that on the back end. It was impossible for us to battle that no matter what. Service SUCKS. We bind businesses into 3-5 year contracts that we’re in breach of within 3-5 WEEKS. Worst service culture I’ve ever experienced. TMs do not care when accounts threaten to leave. I’ve watched them give directions on how to properly cancel the service. HELLO C-SUITE, IS ANYBODY AWAKE UP THERE!? None of them lost their jobs. At my last company 3 straight months of your NPS score being in the tubes, so was your job!! Not here though. The plants are falling apart, (that means garments go missing, towels and aprons get delivered dirty etc.) Ops leadership has awful business acumen and chooses savings over practical needs. The offices were disgusting. Ceiling tiles falling off, stained carpets, we don’t launder our own mats LOL. What’s crazy is corporate HQ is beautiful and contradicts the reality that 90% of everyday employees experience at their home facilities. I feel like a clown ignoring all of these red flags thinking it would get better. Now, my entire team and I are jobless. I really doubt this company is going to make it. You’re better off continuing your job search or taking this while finalizing other interviews.

Very demanding, felt spread very thin trying to keep everything afloat

Low pay, subpar managers (green/detached/siloed/clueless), reliance on people over processes due to the manual nature of the work (a slave-driving mentality), poor communication from managers, and zero production scheduling. Too many people, from the shop floor to management, who don't care. A sales-driven organization = layoffs.

Shady industry and questionable service

No major cons during my time here — every company has small challenges, but nothing stood out as a serious issue.

Hard to keep good people

Cult like, dog eat dog, micromanaging, unqualified managers, puts small businesses out of business, terrible company culture, selling a service that people don’t need, harassing people with cold calls multiple times, people hate Aramark, operations ruins every install, drivers are rude and move too quick so they get their money, upper management is all roided out men who came from Cintas, very few women, oh and they just laid off 12,000 employees and gave them 2 weeks severance. The most horrible and toxic work environment I’ve ever been in. I wouldn’t wish working there on my worst enemy. The stock has TANKED.. the company has to be going under. Save your mental health and job security and go literally anywhere else.
