Pros

There are absolutely zero pro’s to working for this joke of a cooperation. None. If you are a veterinary employee, do not work here.

Cons

This company is a disgrace to the veterinary world. They do no care about the staff, or the patients. Patient care is not at all the priority, and that is not only my opinion, it has been stated by the HR team. This company refuses to take constructive criticism, and believes that monetary value is more important then the well being of the staff making the money. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE.

Pros

Working with animals is a rewarding job.

Cons

The company starts cutting staff hours the minute business gets a little slow. When things pick up, staff end up very stressed and worn out trying to make up for being short staffed. During these times, people are made to feel guilty for letting their team down if they are away due to illness or personal emergencies. The company give access to mental health apps as if this makes up for putting people in unnecessarily stressful circumstances to begin with. They claim they have to cut costs for the company to survive. Meanwhile, they are sending out emails about every high paid position they have made up that is supposed to somehow help all of us. They also continue to purchase more and more new clinics. We all understand that businesses need to make money. Please stop pretending that you are putting people first. There is so much more to get into about Vetstrategy but a lack of energy left after the work week to do so. It looks as though there are many people here feeling the same.

Pros

A company going through fast change, giving employees the chance to learn and grow if working with the right manager

Cons

It became very much bottom line oriented. People felt openly dispensable, overworked and underpaid
