Decent for Flexibility, But Not a Place to Grow Your Career or Have a Livable Wage
Pros
Free lunches on Friday and WFH as needed.
Cons
If you're simply looking for a flexible schedule and a steady paycheck, Vheda Health may be a reasonable fit. However, if you’re hoping to advance your career or earn a livable wage—especially as a single parent—this is not the place to do it. The salary for MET employees is not sustainable for anyone with real financial responsibilities. There are many unfair practices across the company. Compensation structures are inconsistent, and management frequently makes empty promises about promotions and raises, regardless of your performance. The environment is plagued by favoritism, a lack of accountability, and toxic internal politics. Quality of work is low for much of the team, yet there are no real checks and balances in place to ensure high standards are being met. The newly appointed VP of Operations is not approachable, seems unwell, and does not inspire confidence in the company's future. Leadership often feels fake, divisive, and more focused on pitting employees against one another than fostering a healthy, collaborative workplace. Promotions are consistently given to the wrong people, with little regard for qualifications or performance. It’s disheartening to see the direction the company is headed. For those seeking meaningful growth or recognition, I would recommend looking elsewhere.
