Pros

Smart and compassionate coworkers who care about making a difference. Team works really hard to help their clients. Supervisors and leadership are always looking for ways to support the team. I felt inspired working there.

Cons

It’s hard work. Need to take care of yourself and communicate with supervisors when you need support.

Pros

Dedicated staff. Colleagues who care about the mission and each other. Room for new ideas, for finding your passion and running with it. The job has lots of different parts to it (working with clients, networking with community partners, giving trainings) so lots of opportunities to grow in many different directions. Salaries are low but the MOST generous vacation and other leave policies of anywhere I ever worked.

Cons

The salaries are low in the non profit world to begin with and they are low here too. If time off and flexible scheduling matters a lot to you that might make up for the salary scale. I wish the organization had more money so it could hire more lawyers to do the work.
