Pros

Not many, I started fast and benefits were available pretty fast.

Cons

Benefits are abismal, absolute bare minimum offered. They will never let you take PTO or will guilt trip you before/demean your contributions upon return. You are expected to over-deliver while underpaid and understaffed. LO’s have zero manners, everyone tattles, backbites, and gossips. No training structure, turnover is insane, 90+ in last 3 months. It’s either their way or the highway, don’t try to make improvements, you’ll be demonized. Everyone’s fake. Instead of laying people off with severance they find bogus ways to avoid paying you. Poor communication from the top down.

Pros

Corporate holiday party is nice

Cons

Hostile work environment- Incompetent Management. They don't do what they promise employees and they overlook qualified employees for promotions. The kicker is the owner actually swears at his employees. Highly stressful work environment with unreasonable expectations for staff. They DO NOT pay you for your paid time off if you give your notice. Current employees who decide to leave should take vacation or call in sick and utilize all of your PTO before you give notice.

Pros

Victorian Finance has a way of hiring genuinely good people who care about their jobs, coworkers, and the company's overall well-being.

Cons

Victorian Finance is fully aware of the above and knows they can take advantage of their employees (who are not loan officers). They add a genuinely unrealistic amount of work to anyone who is not a loan officer's plate (to save money/consolidate MULTIPLE jobs into one without paying a cent more or even saying "thank you"). Eventually, they will eliminate an employee when they cannot take on additional work (including things outside their scope, job description, skills, understanding, department, generally things the employee has no business doing/would have needed experience/extensive training to perform, etc.) This is an extremely stressful work environment. -You will only get a raise if you are a loan officer, no matter how hard or dedicated you work. -You will only get a promotion/title bump if you are a loan officer, no matter how hard or dedicated you work.
