Pros

I am not someone who normally writes online reviews, but I really wanted to put it out there how much I love the company I am working for and would like to pass along how great VidCruiter really is. I started working at VidCruiter around 6 years ago when it was a small local startup. Little did I know at the time how quickly they would grow and how extensive their future client list would be. I have been there from very early on and had the privilege of watching the progress happen, which was super motivating and exciting to see. Sean (the CEO) has worked long hours, both day and night, to lead the company to where it is today and I am so proud to be part of it. All through my years of working at VidCruiter, I always felt seen and appreciated. I have gotten several bonuses as well as raises along the way as recognition for putting extra effort into my work so I know that working hard really does get rewarded which is what motivates me to always do my best. At VidCruiter, I have been given the opportunity to move around into different roles and I am thrilled to have found a position that I am now very happy with and that I feel is a good fit for me and my skill set. I also am very fortunate to have the ability to work from home which gives me great flexibility as a mom so that I am still able to pick up my kids from school and take them to appointments – I can just make up the time in the evening which is perfect for me. I must also mention that I cannot say enough about the entire VidCruiter team as a whole. Every single person I work with is so supportive of each other and always willing to help out a fellow colleague, even if they are super busy themselves. The company morale is the strongest I have ever seen of all the places I have worked and that alone makes a HUGE difference in my own personal job satisfaction. And I love how all the employees are treated fairly and with respect and are recognized when they do a good job. There is even a Slack channel set up especially for employees to recognize fellow teammates and everyone always chimes in with an appreciative word or a “congratulations”. VidCruiter really is awesome on so many levels and I am super proud and grateful that I am part of such an impressive company.

Cons

Not sure why "Cons" is a required field for a review as I am unable to think of any at this time. I am truly a happy and proud VidCruiter employee on every level and I have nothing even remotely bad to say about this company. I wish everyone had the privilege of working for a company like VidCruiter. Five stars all the way!

Pros

Through the time I have been working for the company, I believe one of its best pros is the company culture, Vidcruiter is Extremely results-oriented and has a friendly, multicultural and open work environment. Another point would be the challenging high standards of the company, which honestly helped me improve a lot within a very short amount of time as an employee and sometimes as a person too. I regards to compensation, I see it as fair and adequate. Lastly, the company still has a startup feel, where everyone does everything, and where innovation and fast paced development is a constant. Personally, I see that as a plus or every young or experienced professional.

Cons

None that I see so far.

Pros

I am a single mom working from home as a senior team member here at VidCruiter. I came to VidCruiter because I was seeking an ambitious, fast-paced work environment, where I could carve out a role for myself as the company grew and evolved. I was working in a sales position where there was always a looming threat of layoffs, and I wanted to have control over my career, but I wanted to work from home so that I could spend time with my son as well. That is exactly what I found. My schedule is reasonably flexible, meaning that if I need to run to a doctor’s appointment, vet appointment, etc, I can make up the time as needed, and I am in charge of my own calendar. If I see a gap in processes, I am able to bring forward ideas or create tools to solve the issue, and my ideas are listened to. When I am off the clock, I am able to fully disconnect, whether it be a vacation or just the weekend, and if I see a task or project that I want to tackle, I am given the opportunity to at least try, and the rest of the senior team has been very forthcoming with the resources and information needed to do my job.

Cons

Working in a company that is growing as fast as VidCruiter is not for everyone. You need to be ambitious, a self-starter, be able to constructively handle feedback and coaching without taking it personally, and be productive for the vast majority of your workday. The platform is quite technical, and things are moving at a fast pace. Big personalities are all around, and they’re not always having their best day ever. All that being said, if you’re the type of person who is solution-focused, who will roll up their sleeves and do what they can to help, who will ask for help when you need it, then you will do fine here, and I look forward to working with you.
