Un-inclusive. Needs more diversity.

Pros

- They have good benefits

Cons

- The team is mostly white and their proud of it - which is why they boast about their culture on their website. I wish they could introduce more PoC into their team because, despite their offices being in the most diverse parts of town, they have very little diversity in their staff.

We’re committed (https://www.viget.com/articles/diversity-equity-and-inclusion-our-commitment-to-progress) to lasting progress regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion and while we’ve made progress in many of these areas, significant work remains. Pros

1. Strong hiring. They place a lot of emphasis on finding talented, passionate people, and it shows in the work and organizational culture. 2. Diverse client roster. You'll get to work with all types of organizations on a wide range of projects. It's invaluable experience for any role. 3. Learning environment. People consistently share best practices that they're discovering and are encouraged to explore new tools and processes. 4. Autonomy. Because teams are small, you have influence over how you approach project work.

Cons

1. Lack of defined processes. Because projects and teams vary from one account to the next, there isn't always a clear process to follow on project work. This is less an issue for more senior people, but can be challenging for newer hires getting their bearings. 2. Managing multiple projects at once. The company works to limit the number of projects a person is assigned to at any given time, but the overlap can be stressful at times (something pretty standard for agency work).
