Pros

Nice location and office building.

Cons

If you are looking for a new opportunity, I would not consider Vikor. The company lacks unified leadership. Each department, and even teams within the same department, seems to function as a completely separate entity, often times with misaligned goals. It’s impossible to get anything accomplished here because each department has a goal that directly contradicts another. Managers need to talk more and there needs to be key metrics for the company as a whole, not only be individual departments, to promote collaboration. At Vikor, you’re either entry level or a manager. There’s no in between. If you want to be babysat during your career, this is the place for you. There are also no growth plans or development paths laid out for employees. If you’re looking for continuous learning and improvement, you won’t find it here. Continuing with management, one manager is constantly being complained about but she only gets promoted. She mistreats, belittles, and intimidates employees but only continues to get promoted. This company really needs an HR department. I’ve heard managers on multiple occasions say “whew, good thing we don’t have HR or I’d be out of here.” The need for HR is especially true considering the male owner of the company has a strong tendency to flirt with you get female employees. You can read plenty of other reviews that mention the same. I’ve seen it first hand on multiple occasions. There are even employees who know that about him and use it to their advantage, even going so far as to brag about their “personal connection” with him. Another issue I have with the company is that there are never any real fixes, just bandaids placed over the issues for a temporary quick fix. If you have a suggestion to help fix a problem, it falls on deaf ears. You’ll spend months trying to get someone with authority to listen and months more getting them to take on the action.

Not a good company if you are a true profesional sales rep.

Pros

If you need income for 3 months and are between jobs. This is your place. They will fire you in 3 months if you aren’t at a full quota and their quotas are the same across the board.

Cons

The two owners. And they are loosing their reimbursement for the larger panels. Their benefit was large panel testing. Now CMA is drastically cutting reimbursement so their full panel testing platform is now too expensive. Labcorp and Quest are going to win the battle vs full panel PCR testing. The two owners are nuts. One can’t talk in public and the other one thinks he is Donald Trump. He has 2 hour long conference calls all the time where he flirts with the women reps and belittles reps who he thinks are stealing from the company. Extremely unprofessional leadership.
