First off, sales are based on luck clienteling for swimwear is extremely hard and when I was there there was no client system at all either way no one wants to be clienteling for swimwear be real
Anyways!
1. No budget at all so it’s difficult to maintain proper store coverage and puts significant strain on the small teams that are already in place
2. Low Pay for Luxury Retail and it’s pathetic af!! The compensation is relatively low compared to other luxury retail brands and it’s an embarrassment. Since the role is primarily base pay without strong commission incentives, there should be pay over at least 23-24 and they would rather a full timer and asm the same amount lol
3. There’s is no work life balance no vacations no 2nd job no school no hobbies. It’s like scratching your nails across a chalk board for a vacation because they decided to only have a team of 3-6 ppl so they project that on you
4. Inconsistent Policies and Lack of Accountability
There is often little consistency in how rules, expectations, and policies are enforced. Policies may be applied differently depending where on the situation or the employee
6. Disorganized Leadership and Projected Pressure from higher ups
decisions from upper management sometimes feel disconnected from the realities of store operations. When stores struggle due to structural issues such as understaffing or slow business, the pressure can sometimes be projected onto employees rather than addressing the root operational challenges
7. The biggest red flag is the high turnover rate! Idk if that ain’t a red flag then idk what is. Trust it and believe it if everyone quits or gets fired that is a SIGN. The turnover rate is like 300% lmao it’s sick that says a lot
8. Racist and discriminatory- take that for what it is. I mean it literally
