Pros

Work from home, great peers.

Cons

Micromanaging, Invasive - Bullying Managers, No Guidelines, No Business Processes, No 'Source of Truth', No Life, Everything is 'Simple and Quick' (yet advanced levels of programming needed), Everything is a High Priority, No Scope of the Job, Biggest Mistake of My Life! I believe I am an enthusiastic individual normally who can handle some pretty bad situations, but this takes it to the limit.

Cons

Low pay Only 30 minutes for lunch. If you're over or under by more than 5 minutes, it's an issue. It's old school work until you drop culture compared to the changing work cultures of today. Micromanagement and over-monitoring. Constant changes and stress. Once you figure out what you're supposed to be doing and feel confident, they will change everything on you. One person told me they are on their 3rd electronic health record system in 2 years for their program. That's too many changes. Management doesn't know what employees do and often can't help with issues that come up. They don't know the systems or program requirements. Holidays aren't given as holiday time, but taken from the fairly low amount of pto given. Neither MLK Jr. Day nor Juneteenth are considered holidays which is really says a lot about the culture. They send "diversity and belonging" emails yet don't actually honor days by celebrating and offering time off to reflect a civil rights pioneer or ending slavery. Most expensive health benefits I've had in my career so far. My past 2 jobs were 100% employer funded and they weren't close to the corporate funded giant that Davita is. Turnover. Although it's understandable.
