Lots of networking opportunities Semi okay pay (great pay if you're an above average employee) Fun coworkers Free food sometimes

Cons

Cold calling doors Long drives to territories with no reimbursement for gas Commission based pay (was told otherwise during interview) Very stressful job Long hours (7-7 most days mon-fri) Not actually a mon-fri as they are expecting you to work Saturdays

Hey Reviewer, We appreciate the time and thought you put into this review and wish we would have had the opportunity to amend your cons during your time here with us. We're so glad that you enjoyed the networking opportunities available to you and free food is always a plus, right?! We definitely agree and do not shy away with the fact that our Management Program requires more than 40 hours a week. We strongly believe that success requires more than 40 hours. Our hours are Monday through Friday, if standards are met, and Saturdays are optional if standards are not met throughout the week. Our client has weekly bonuses that team members receive for gas expenditures, but seeing as we only work in the Irving/Dallas area the distances we drive for client meeting are reasonable to our office location. WASTE OF TIME

Pros

None unless you like being pressured and under paid

Cons

Door to door sales. Driving a lot to places far away wasting gas. Long days with high hopes of lots of money. Misleading by management job posting and recruiter gave no information it was sales.

Hey, Reviewer! While we're appreciative of feedback, it seems strange to us that you would have had zero positive experiences when working with VIM Solutions. Why would you have accepted employment if you had not been attracted to the people, pay, hours, client, etc? As far as transparency - our website, social media, Glassdoor profile, first interview, second interview AND new hire orientation all emphasize the fact that we do face to face sales. We work to be VERY clear that we operate in a business to business setting on behalf of TMobile within the Irving/DFW area. Your review leads us to believe that you were not an employee but in fact an interviewee. Should that be the case, your review has unfairly been left in the wrong category. Door to door sales

Pros

Working away from office. Driving to a different city and not micromanaged. Nice people to work along side. Nice office building. That's about it.

Cons

Underpaid, door to door sales. Selling phone service on the spot to people. Misleading in interviews about what you're actually doing. They make it seem easier than it is.

Hey, Reviewer! Thank you for the feedback, and of course, for the time you committed to writing this review and working for 1-week of training. We agree with your pros, as it's nice to get out of the office, interact with people face to face, and not feel micromanaged. Our concern is that you felt underpaid when compensation is clearly discussed in a second interview and new hire orientation. We also feel that we're very clear in the fact that we do business to business sales (with businesses, not residentially) on behalf of T-Mobile. We don't sell service on the spot, as it wouldn't be convenient to walk around with a dozen phones daily, but instead corporate and personal plans (not the physical service). All in all, it seems there was a disconnect, and should you have any questions regarding training, compensation, or more, we welcome you to reach out to our office.
