Pros

None to speak of, pay is awful, management awful, they treat their direct care employees like garbage despite the fact that those employees are the people actually doing the what the company claims it wants to do which is I believe 'transform lives'.

Cons

This is a HORRIBLE company , this is the fourth human services company I have worked for and it is by far the worst. Pay is pathetic, they treat you like crap, i.e. If you are an overnight staff and you pick up an gift during the day, they will pay you the (lower) overnight rate for any and all day hours worked. Also the NEVER give raises, you get hired at $12 an hour, that means you get paid $12 an hour until you quit. Also, they have NO problem forcing you to stay for someone else's shift if they don't show up, which results in staff frequently working 16,18,20, or 24 hour shifts straight.

Pros

The direct care staff are amazing, hard working, and dedicated

Cons

The culture does not match tbe mission or companys values, it focuses on documenting fake outcomes and paperwork. You can only move up if you are a "yes" person, who never questions the management and has no mangagement experience or leadership skill, bc the director is intimidated by educated emplyees. This isis the only company i have ever worked for that staff spend so much time talking about how incompetent, unskilled, untrained the management is. HR is stuck with red tape. Consistent high turnover becuase no one feels valued or appreciated. Not enough.time and space not condusive to complete the work that needs to get done.
