Pros

Co-workers are amazing and some became close friends. Good colleagues is the only saving grace for this company.

Cons

Please avoid this company at all costs. If hell was a company it would be Virtuworks. The owner is one of the most toxic and disrespectful people you will ever work for. Management just does whatever he says. If you have a problem there is no HR. No one to hold managements disgusting behavior accountable. You will be forced into working after hours without any pay. Almost no one leaves before 6pm. You will always be drowning in work with no help or hope of ever catching up and being able to breath. If you can't figure something out the engineers almost never have a second to even help you and you have to pray the issue doesn't escalate to managers. All of ex-employees had issues receiving final paycheck. Management ignoring communications or trying to avoid paying full hours of last paycheck. For your own well being. PLEASE AVOID THIS COMPANY!

Pros

The guys next to you are your lifeline. Always willing to help and learn anything you need help in.

Cons

Certain leadership was toxic. It was to the point you would just walk in sometimes and just see someone getting yelled at and you would just have to ignore it and keep doing what you’re doing. Workload was heavy with the amount of engineers to clients so don’t expect to have any downtime and also unpaid afterhours. You will be in a high stress environment and will be expected to perform with the high demand or if not you will be tossed.

Pros

VirtuWorks has a solid team, strong leadership, and a culture that encourages continuous improvement. As a Project Engineer, I’ve been trusted with real, meaningful projects that challenge me and expand my technical and professional skill set. If you’re motivated and take pride in your work, this is a strong environment to succeed in.

Cons

This is not a place for someone who wants to coast or avoid responsibility. You have to be willing to work hard and step outside of your comfort zone at times. That said, this is typical of MSP work and one of the reasons the role is both challenging and rewarding.
