      Lacking in professionalism and needs improvement in internal communication

      Pros

      Amazing colleagues from all over the globe who are passionate about their job and the mission of the company. Very diverse and friendly.

      Cons

      Super high turnover of staff - it is never announced when someone has left. Staff management by senior management is lacking and unprofessional. Internal communication between departments doesn't exist, and it shows in duplicate work.

      Job insecurity and anxiety is a concern

      Flexible Generally a progressive culture Generous PTO and bank holiday leave Several budgets/perks

      Cons

      We know the nature of a startup and the need to make quick decisions. But it’s starting to look like a sort of hire and fire culture is developing here. To put people in positions and in less than 6 months (some less than 3!) you decide you don’t need the position anymore and fire them is quite concerning. Again, it’s understandable that quick decision-making is needed but maybe take the time to sit in a problem and craft a proper strategy to reach company goals so needs can be better assessed. Everything does not need to be so hard and fast.

      Terrible place to work - will make empty promises to get you in the door!

      Pros

      Majority of the team members are great to work with but senior management is terrible, no diversity and treat you as a number - do not care about your progression.

      Cons

      They suck you in with promises and everything you want to hear, then leave you to not know what you are doing and give you no support. They believe if you have a problem you can't solve then you are the problem and some of the leadership team should not even have made it to management - do not know how to manage or communicate with people. Terrible place to work! Do not believe the reviews on glassdoor - they ask current employees to write them and reward for good reviews. You will regret working here!

Related to your comments on rewarding good reviews, as one of our operating principles is transparency, we always appreciate open and constructive feedback from anyone because that is what moves us further. We don't reward anyone for leaving a positive review on Glassdoor and leave the choice if and what to share up to each individual. Our culture is built on meritocracy, and opportunities are given based on achievements and results. That is why we are constantly adjusting our process including career progression, performance enablement and the performance improvement plan process and will continue in 2023. Regarding diversity, given our mission to make internships accessible to anyone in the world, diversity and inclusion are important topics for us internally as well. Therefore we aim to have people coming from different backgrounds and with different experiences in all teams and on all levels of the company including the leadership team. To mention a few examples, we have employees across 25+ countries worldwide, and 75% of the team is female. People are one of our company's most important pillars, and we regularly conduct an employee engagement survey. The recent one had an e-NPS of 55, which is generally rated as “excellent", with "Friendly, talented, and diverse colleagues" and "Working Atmosphere - collaborative and supportive” noted as areas where we excel.
