      It was a great opportunity and great ambience

      Pros

      I was trusted grown over my time at Virtuallylive into lead developer. The management entrusted me to do the work and mentored me in my journey. Thanks to this position I moved from working on a boring industry of web applications to work now in the games industry. I am thankful for the opportunity and for a great team and boss.

      very tight milestones (unavoidable due to the nature of the product) and lack of clear instructions from producers at some times

      Inexperienced heads.

      Pros

      Good work life balance when things go well.

      Cons

      Things rarely go well. The heads are inexperienced in developing mobile games. They promise too much to their investors and provide too little resources to put those promises to action. My entire team were told we were going to be laid off in a month and yet they still make promises to the investors.When the management realized that the bulk of the actual experienced developers are the people being laid off they panicked and resorted to emailing the staff individually, by-passing their managers and leads to please help them hit their goals and to do as much as we can before we leave the company.
