Pros

Not a single thing at all.....

Cons

The worst company I have ever worked for in my life and I have had my share of positions at big companies. They treat their employees like crap, and have no respect for anyone. They want you to work very long hours and they don’t care if you get sick doing it. People drop off like flies do to all of the stress, Heart attacks, you name it. Their promised bonuses are not anywhere that they say they are going to be, you can count on about 20% of that number. They are really cheap and won’t pay for anything extra needed by a group. Their Christmas party is a complete joke, they gave out a toaster and a mug, and a pan and a five dollar gift card to Food Lion. I didn’t even know they made $5.00 gift cards. Very embarrassing for them. HR is a joke and won’t help you with anything. Very unfriendly people. It is not a team environment in the company at all, lots of drama and gossip everywhere in every group. Plus they don’t pay well and almost impossible to get a raise other that 2%. Everyone is miserable and wants to leave. Please take my advice and stay far far away from this place, unless you want to suffer.

Politics are worse than POTUS

Pros

If they let you, you can actually help guide the future of the department you work in. Also, if you're Israeli, the world is your oyster. If you're any other nationality, not so much.

Cons

Refuses to pay competitive salary Refuses to hire help for those departments that need it (unless it is finance). Even when auditors tell you to hire help, refuse to do so. Members of Senior Management have no clue what needs to be done and contradict members who are SMEs for their own professional gain with poor results. Budget planning is nonsensical and insulting. CEO only hires "yes men" and will only follow the advice of those he wants to listen to Politics of the company are seriously unprofessional. From constant unwarranted character assassination to outright manipulation of the facts into boldfaced untruths, the current POTUS administration is actually a breath of fresh air in comparison.

Pros

Some people are really trying to help make things better, but not enough of them. At the end of the day upper-management calls the shots and 9 time out of 10 they are wrong.

Cons

Isn't enough room here to list them all. You aren't paid accordingly, you will work long hours coupled with intermittent furloughs (which makes absolutely zero sense), you will have the life sucked out of you and expected to be thankful for the opportunity to call this place a "job."
