Pros

Personal relationships with customers. Learning all the latest info about all the latest tech. Playing and demoing all the newest tech products. Commission pay = potential to make decent money.

Cons

Company is run by absolute criminals who will do anything they can to take every penny from you. Whether it's raising cost on products so you don't get paid, refusing to order non "in house brand" products. Consistently introducing promotions that only harm the salesman, for example "all customers get cost" with promotions like these, the salesman are required to surrender any profit /commision in the products they sell. Training is non existent. You will be thrown to the wolves and expected to survive and if you don't, you will be fired without hesitation. HO and management will offer you next to no support. You will be consistently harrased over sales targets that are far beyond the control of a simple salesman. There is a massive divide between operations staff and sales. Sales are constantly harrased by management and are expected to not only sell, but also maintain cleanliness, stock and tag shelves, do TV inspections and carryout, manage online orders and so much more. Operations staff spend half their shift twiddling their thumbs or consistantly leave early with full pay. Management is poorly trained, manipulative liars, and extremely unprofessional. They care about their bonuses and nothing else and you are simply a tool for them, nothing more.

Pros

Nothing - if I could give this company a 0 I would. They treat everyone like complete crap. They are arrogant people that only care amount making the extra $$ off of customers and there employees.

Cons

-Disgusting Work environment. -Horrible customer service, they ignore customers needs, don’t call customers back and take months to resolve things that should not be a issue in the first place. -All around no proper communication and constant mixed information from everyone in the company. Trying to reach someone higher up is like trying to get into Fort Knox. -No one does anything ethical, just a bunch of shady crap and lies all around. -Higher-ups only care about themselves not the customers and definitely not the employees. - Don’t take any suggestions on how to help the store and improve it. -They lie about pay, that’s if they even pay you! -Not a company anyone should be proud to work for, in fact it use to be quite embarrassing.

Pros

- Some good employees - Access to newest tech - Good place to gain sales experience - General manager was really great. - Sales manager was great.

Cons

- The pay structure was impossible. If you're not in home theater/audio it's impossible to get more then minimum wage. - Massive favoritism. It's a cesspool of overconfident guys thinking they're untouchable. And they are. - Outdated sales strategies that you're forced to follow. Customers can see through the bait and switch. - I felt almost attacked by upper management at times for not making quotas. Even if we were extremely slow. 1 customer/day sort of slow. - The store itself needs an update. Very old looking, warehouse had mold. - Did not treat their staff like they were important. The idea that you were disposable was regularly held over your head if you complained. - They WILL NOT fire any sales staff. We had awful awful staff that they kept on because they were all friends . - Most salespeople at my location already had plans to leave the store when they found another job. - They bring ex-employees in instead of hiring new people with a fresh outlook and perspective. - Had to regularly work 12 hours shifts. Boxing day/ Black Friday I worked 17 hours nonstop. - Only female salesperson. There was a lot of harassment from the 'boys' Although my manager did try to make sure i was comfortable in the workplace.
