Pros

Vitech has a lot of big clients and the salary is pretty good. Most of the analysts are young since the company recruits from colleges. The office is conveniently located in Midtown with access to a lot of good restaurants and bars.

Cons

The company culture at Vitech is non-existent, there are absolutely no cool events that encourage people to bond outside of the office or make them feel appreciated for their work. The office itself is extremely dull (the floor is really quiet/no talking unless you're in a meeting) The training process is also non-existent and the turnover rate is extremely high. If someone on your team leaves, good luck with the extra work. Depending on what project you get put on, your work life balance will vary a lot. I've seen people who leave the office at 5 while others work well into the evening and weekend. Some teams will be expected to work weekends to get work done. Lack of mobility, it's not possible to get staffed unless onto another project unless management forces you. If you're an analyst, you're going to be working on fixing new bugs every time a new product upgrade hits. The system itself has so many bugs and it's almost impossible to determine the root cause at times. The work can be extremely tedious and time consuming at times, you could be building out tens and hundreds of different test cases just to test something out.

Pros

Pays a lot of money, can boss around new hires if you're the kind of person who enjoys that

Cons

When I take a walk around the office, most employees here look miserable. Dated and poor software quality. You won't be working with any modern technology at Vitech whatsoever, and your job skills and career will suffer for it. Old software typically has the advantage of having the bugs ironed out long ago, but Vitech's software is both old and awful. Software development is outsourced at the lowest cost possible with a small amount done by abused immigrants in New Jersey. Clients are not happy with the constant stream of problems, so you'll get to exercise your creative thinking skill a lot at Vitech as you spin BS to make excuses.

Pros

I haven't found any pros here.May be the initial package will be good if you negotiate well.

Cons

First things first, the place is awful at Somajiguda,Lakeshore Towers,Hyderabad. It wont look like a software company but like a fish market as there are other small companies(not software)/consultancies exists. 2)There is no proper parking available and your vehicles will swim in the water if it rains heavily(water logging) 3)Coming to working style, this is onsite/off shore model. Each local employee will be assigned a onsite mentor and you need to wait for him/her for status meeting from 7:30 pm on wards. The reviews will take place once they are online and they make sure you complete them on the same day sorry night for us in India. There is a lot of dependency created so you will be spend time like you are working in US timings. 4)The V3 Benefits framework is so complex to work with but there wont be any documentation or any technical training's. You will be dependent on fellow developers or your mentor in US. Even if you are 7 plus years of experience and end up slogging day and night to finish the work due to tight deadlines. 5)There is no development work here and you end up fixing only bugs and bugs and more bugs. 6)There is no appreciation from the management, you just work 24/7 7)Appraisal is a farce here.Your US manager decides the hike percentage and will let you know the number and there ends the matter. No negotiations. 8)There wont be any teams here. You and your mentor in US forms a team.If you stuck in some issue and you may/may not get help from others as every one works in different modules and they may not even know what needs to be done in that module and you need to wait for your mentor(its painful to wait if you don't have any other issues/you are not clear whats need to be done for other issues in your bucket) 9)Last but not least, they will fire people(pink slips) by just looking at 1 or 2 months even though there is no proper training or help from others.
