The sales is group is virtually non-existent as such, and is very poorly managed. It is an after-thought that very much feels bolted on. You will languish & likely end up being the scape-goat if you stick around (most people don’t - as the size of the ‘team’ clearly demonstrates). You’ll receive very little guidance or direction, and likely find yourself with not much to do as a result, which is particularly frustrating if your are motivated to advance your career. As others have mentioned, nepotism is rife. The possibility of advancing a sales career here is essentially zero. Trust your instincts - you will likely do much better somewhere else.
