Pros
- Macbook (although a low spec 13 inches Air) - Fully remote - Up to date tech stack - Good amount of days of vacations (higher than the legal minimum) - Some nice peers
Cons
- Very weak onboarding: you have loads of calls with people from several departments (not very useful), instead of being let known about their code standards, etc. You're placed on a greenfield project, irrespective of your level of experience with their tech stack, sometimes on your own (with limited availability from your buddy) and expected to adapt quickly to their rythm... which increases with your tenure: sometimes devs are juggling between multiple projects; - Engineering process could be improved -> 0 tests. - Very low pay, especially given the multiple times of context switching you're subject to and the hours you have to work. Vizzuality pays quite below the market. You can get a 10/15k bump elsewhere. - Projects are almost always more or less the same.
